Calligraphy Christmas Cards

This past weekend was my first set of Christmas present exchanges with my boyfriend and his family this weekend. After running around finding and making presents, I needed to sit down and add my favourite and final touch to the presents – christmas cards! As a student, I’m not super huge on spending an exorbitant amount of money on presents, so I try and make an effort to write something meaningful that lasts. Anyways, all those christmas chocolates will get eaten within the week, but I keep every thoughtful card I’ve ever been given in my bedside drawer. If you’re ever looking for an ego-boost, look through those special cards, because you instantly remember that you’re appreciated by somebody that matters to you.

My attempt at hand lettered cards!

Making cards by hand is extra special, but if hand lettering isn’t your thing but you still like this look, please consider buying some handmade cards from Etsy! I’ve attached links from some of my favourite artists here, seen in the first image.
